Reviews and Feedbacks from Previous Clients:
"The size -- perfect for intimate ceremonies -- not too small, not too big. The aisle length is short, which I think is a big advantage for men. . . Privacy - no vendors, no manong photographers who can develop your photos faster than you think. . . Elevation - stairs, since mataas, bongga ang bride's entrance. . . Parish Secretaries - they lack communinication skills pero effort naman sa pagiging accommodating. The only problem we had was about the misallete. . . Ushers - coordinators are very efficient but over-zealous. " -- Marge & Tonton, 28 feb 2009

" 5 stars na sana ang NSDG pero ang nakabawas is the one in the office. Parang ayaw nya dun magwork kasi pag naga-update kami or may inquiries, she's so unaccomodating. Tapos nung sa misalette, ilang beses pabalik-balik kahit mismong format na binigay e kinokorek pa. Tapos the manangs talagang tinataray-tarayan ang coords ko, with words na "hindi naman kasi kayo kelangan dito!" pati nga choir ko may tinarayan sila. I just wish since taga Simbahan sila, they should approach people nicely di ba?" -- Dins & Albert, 18 oct 2008

" But the old antique look of it makes your pictures really beautiful. The staffs are cordial and they didn't give us a hard time in completing our documents. One downside though are the "manangs". They are really very strict. We didn't get to have pictures with my friends and other relatives." -- Retchie & Alpha

"it really was a very lovely church. all my friends who came and saw the church for the first time even said they never even knew that a church like that exists in makati. . .they are really very strict with time. to think we are the last wedding for the day, they really didn't allow us to finish the pictorials inside the church kasi we will exceed na our time limit." -- Alex & Jade, 05 jan 08

"They delivered all my request, they never gave my coordinators hard time, the manangs were really attentive to all the needs of the bride and groom." -- Ryan & Madz, 19 jan 2008

"A small and picturesque church. Ang ganda magpapicture. Very kind and helpful ang staff. . .The manangs who coordinated sa ceremony were very kind and courteous. Very affordable rate. Di lang nga aircon. clear ang sound system." -- Grace & Jen, 1 feb 2008

"The Church's Standard Flower arrangement need not to be upgraded since they use Calla Lillies for the aisle deco. It was good to know that fans should be distributed to the guest since the church's area contricts air flow. . .Very Nice Church, small but it makes the celebration solemn. Ample parking space to our guests. . .Manangs specially the one hosting the ceremony are not that friendly." -- Camz & Rain, 20 feb 2007

"One new thing I discovered about NSDG that are not in any supplier rating, see, I am very particular with noise, hence I didn't get Fernwood (no offense to fernwood brides). I forgot that NSDG allows receptions at their garden. And like Fernwood, I heard the ruckus the reception made during what could have been a very solemn mass." -- Vic & Kath, 7 jan 2006

"The church is very quaint and ideal for small weddings. . . It's picture-perfect structure was well captured in our photos. The only thing you have to consider lang is it can be very mainit...so be prepared!" -- Tine & Roland, 16 oct 05

"solemn, old church, not too grand, not to small, accommodating staffs most specially kuya albert, ample parking space, they have carpet extension (sa hagdan ng church) plus points sa pictorial. . .situated in one-way bernardino st., mejo nakakaligaw." -- Ed & Che, 20 dec 2004

"Quaint, intimate church. Staff were very accommodating and patient especially Albert. Were able to provide on the day itself a Lector. . .Quite hot since we were married at 3 pm. No carpet extended at the stairs although we¡¦ve made arrangements (and payment) for it." -- Obe & Sat, 20 june 2004

"It was a small church with a rustic exterior. The staff were very accommodating & nice. Reasonably priced. "The walk" is not dramatically long but it suits what we had in mind. Closed door entrance was possible. An hour and a half was given to us because it was a Sunday wedding. (One of the few churches who would allow such) This gave us enough time for the picture taking. . .Intially we were worried na mainit sa loob but it wasn't. =) Also maganda ang sound system nila." -- Ryan & Rhodora, 17 oct 2004

"We liked the church coz of its "old" look. A big plus is the abundant parking area. The manangs of NSDG were very efficient, although they can be very strict. They saw to it that everything went smoothly, considering we forgot the pillows, rings, cord, arrhae, bible and veil. What they did was they provided substitutes kaagad." -- Leya & Mannix, 01 March 2003

"The guests loved the church, some of our guests came from Ilocos pa (who are very used to seeing old churches and we were not surprised na nagandahan sila sa church). The flowers were fresh and the manangs were very organized. The Priest was selected by NDSG pero we had a blast during the ceremony since sobrang komedyante yung pari!" -- Pam & Ryan, 27 sept 2008

"Very ideal for a solemn & small wedding. Sabi rin nila, masusungit ang mga manang dito pero hindi nman. They were very helpful pa nga sabi rin ng ate ko. Medyo mainit nga lang po talaga lalo na pag matagal nakaluhod during the ceremony saka minus points yung location bcoz of the squatters at d back of loyola but what matters most is the church itself dba?Malaki ang parking space nila at accessible." -- Ryan & Clang, 08 jan 2008

"Sobrang nagandahan kami sa NSDG the first time we saw it. It's an old, small church that makes wedding ceremonies so intimate. Its size is just right for our number of guests. The staff were easy to talk to and the church coordinators were efficient. Yun nga lang, dapat super ahead magpa-reserve dito kasi ang bilis ma-book ng mga dates kapag weekends. It also has an ample parking space and really nice interiors. Okay din for pictorial yun front ng church and yun sides. Very reasonable din ang rates ng NSDG which includes the basic aisle and altar flowers. Fr. Vic Ampalayo was our officiating priest and gave a solemn ceremony." -- Jeng & Jeff, 12 feb 2006
"It's an old baroque structure with a colorful history to tell. What we so love is its classic grandeur and the size that barely intimidates. And you should see the vaulted ceiling detail. Magnificent! :) The whole structure is raised by a few steps from the ground contributing to its appeal. . . The superb acoustic quality in the church is also a big factor. . . The staff of NSDG is so polite and would attend to your needs readily. The rules are so lenient na you can deviate from a basic missallette. You can have your personal vows, choice of your readings and music, have as many offerrors as you want. Just make sure you give them a copy for their reference and approval. Moreover, NSDG would give you two hours per wedding thereby giving you ample time for the whole nuptial mass and photo session after." -- Jojo & Milett, 19 feb 2005
"We decided on NSDG, since it has the same old feeling of the churches of Manila. We found both the interior and exterior really beautiful. We love the steps leading to the church. . .Another big plus is its big parking lot and that it's really super value for your money. At that time, its rate of 10K was half the charge of other prominent churches. . .He even allowed us as many as 10 pairs of principal sponsors without additional charges. . . Another good thing is regarding the offertory, we just paid them 500 or 550 and sila na bahala with the mompo, host, candles and others. The only thing na left for us to do is to buy the fruits." -- Thet & Chris, 11 dec 2004
